Nursing Board drafts scope of practice regulations that:

• Lack essential elements for collaboration, as required by law
• Lack of appropriate restrictions on prescribing of controlled substances
• Broadly define CRNP tasks
• Remove notification and identification requirements necessary for patients to make informed choices regarding their health care providers

The Society will launch a grassroots effort to respond to the proposed regulations.
